........for getting dirty! Honestly you give it a wash and brush up making it look nice and respectable to go out on the road and you come back after a quick trip to the shops with the car looking like you have been chasing Challenger Two's around Salisbury Plain all day. It ends up looking like one of those big Newfoundland dogs that as soon as it gets out of the bath it cant wait to find the nearest muddy puddle and jump in. At least it is pretty therapeutic washing it (even if it takes twice as long as a 'normal' car), but it is a bit annoying turning up to work on Monday morning in a car that you have spent all weekend on giving it that 'straight out of the showroom' look only for some bright spark to write 'clean me' on the tailgate. Ive got mudflaps, otherwise known as dirt channelers. They make sure that all the mud goes up onto the tailgate. Unfortunately if I left mine till spring to wash it the thing will be that dirty I probably wont be able to find it.... QUID FACIUM TIBI
