Another enquiry for you if you would be so kind...

After spending all my free time stripping out the interior to get at the heater matrix, I found out today its not that... on one hand, thats good, but the other hand its a bummer as I was hoping to find the problem and fix it... so it was back to the drawing board and after a little more diagnostics before it went dark, I am now looking at the little thermostatic heater valve in the engine bay.

I have no idea what its called as the description online is in Russian but it seems to be part number JQD000010. Its for the 2 zone system as well if that helps. 2006MY, 4.4 AJ V8 petrol.

Its not currently connected as its been bypassed so I did a quick test on it tonight with a hose pipe and if I set both sides to max heat, the little auxiliary pump runs and I can get water out of one side but not the other. Further testing over the weekend required but if I can get a price it might sway the decision to fix it or just bin it for a new one.
