Article is confusing. From what I can make out

He worked for Tata. They arr making cars for another company called Vinfast, who were having issues with suspension components

He told senior management. They told him to F.O

He did F.O, and went to JLR

TATA wanted him sacked, and so he was sacked

Hi,

I think his main issue is that he's been apparently blacklisted with the agencies now so the chances of him getting a similar job in the car industry for the foreseeable future are all but destroyed.

Allegedly there is email to prove the conspiracy and collusion at a senior level, so it could potentially amount to many millions in fines if it goes to court. Whistleblower protections in this country are pitiful though.

Another example of critical parts being made to a price as opposed to a specification due to the almost obsessive weight saving to save a fraction of an mpg or CO2 Kg.

No problem using light alloys, aviation industry has been using them in undercarriage for donkeys, the difference is regular x-ray and crack inspections as part of routing servicing,plus lifing the part, i.e. 1000 landings, car industry is never going to go to that level of QA, a life is cheaper to pay off.
