Looks a bit more universal and simpler than the Cuthbertson system fitted to Land Rovers in the Sixties.

Chains wouldn't help lift you in deep snow like those things seem to.

Maxtrax is a recovery aid.....

In the video shown above, I can't see how either would be a suitable alternative......

Ski slopes whilst deep snow are quite compacted so you wouldn't get that sinking feeling so much as fresh off piste would give, hence the chains and maxtrax or even spidertrax type things that LR well now.

Neat. Seen the Track n Go before. Seems good on snow, but not for other off-road applications. The German SnoTracs look neat. Are any modifications needed other than removing the wheels?
