I think they used to be capped at about £1 per transaction, but just had a look and I think this has been recently removed. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

How can they advertise a car at a specific price? Presumably screen price is cash price ?I personally would have just walked away irrespective of how much i wanted the purchase on principle, unless they were going to compensate the charge by way of a full tank of fuel or the !ikes.Any how so long as your happy with the purchase is all that matters. Full fat 4.2 Sc

When I bought my FF I paid the extra ~10k on top of my PX via bank transfer...Didn't think the debit card would allow that much in one transaction. The dealer was happy to give me bank details to transfer to! Jordan

Generally there is no limit on a debit card so long as you have tHe cleared funds available in the bank it will work, as said you may get a confirmation call from the bank to authorise the tx but not necessarily. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I take credit and debit cards in my line of business. Normal (visa) credit cards charge 2.75% and Amex type cards charge 4% Debit cards are a flat £0.59p whatever the value. I am charged £24.95 per month for the service whether I have no transactions or hundreds of them!
You get the money in 3 days, and I have never had a problem, its a secure system.
