Yep, fit and forget. I've used these devices for a number of years on irregularly-used bikes and cars and they are superb. 2006MY 4.2 SC

fit and forget, my 911s hooked upto one, the cig lighter adapter saves alot of hassle if your cig lighter socket is permenantly live. Current
