hi just bought a ifor Williams tb5521-353 tri axle trailer has any one got a ifor Williams trailer ? I've been looking at fitting a caravan remote mover to it to get into tight spots any one tried fitting one to a trailer before any ideas welcomed

It's not a bad idea and I'm sure it would be doable. It would need to be a chunky one though as slewing a triaxle would take a lot of welly, so you would need a 4 wheel set up.

Also you would need onboard power and a 12s socket to charge the battery from. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

If twin axle caravan version is anything to go by I can do way better using the car and in half the time too. Personally I wouldn't waste money on it. If anything look at one of those removable front towballs for shunting.

front towballs are pants its just to move it into the barn when its being stored it has a battery onboard as it has a tipper and winch on board so power isn't a problem been looking at the easymove v4 spoke to dealer in usa earlier reckons it will be fine hes going to talk to technical dept and call back on Monday cheers for input

I have a tri axle Graham Edwards, I find it easy to move (unladen) Is possible if required to jack up the jocky wheel and take the weight off the front / centre axle, making it really easy to manoeuvre, I have a smooth shed floor though  Regards

the floor in barn is as smooth as babys bum was only rebuilt 4 months ago the bed of trailer is 18 foot just need a little help to move as not possible o reverse a high top van in to push it also it will be laden when in there

If you wind the jockey up to full does it lift the front 2 sets of wheels? On my twin axle Indespension winding the jockey to its max will lift the front axle. If it does then you may get away with winding it out when maneuvering and only needing a mover on the rear axle. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

can get the front set off the ground with a jack may put 2 jockey wheels on and get the mover on rear axle hopefully I can get it too the back of the barn its a straight run cheers for the ideas

I suppose it depends on the load carried, what are movers rated at, forgot to mention my trailer is on 10" wheels Regards

movers good for up too 7750 lb but guy said they will be having a new model out in febuary up to 12500lb should do the job
