park brake fault

Just had new front disks pads and an oil service on my 06 TDV8, and now after driving around 4 miles I get the park brake light (red) flash and the amber brake light flashing. I never normally use the parking brake, only at MOT time and it recently had an MOT as well, any ideas? Also new super heavy duty battery last year.

Check if the wheels are hot.
Sounds like park brake could be stuck on. G reg 2.5VM Vogue Portofino red 1991- 1999

Was it only the front pads and discs changed?? There is a hand brake reset procedure butthat's normally done whe. You change the rear discs or epb shoes!

interesting, they replaced one front brake wear sensor, how would that show up as a park brake fault?
