Hi to all.I noticed that when passing a gravel road the right hand side main beam is trembling.this is not happening with high beam.
I took off the back side plastic cover so to see if lamp base is ok and saw that the white plastic part (circled in photo)seems to be loose in comparison with the left headlight
Does anyone know what is the use of this plastic part and if loose or broken can cause such trembling

i cant magnify the picture properly but could that be the lever for uk/europe beam setting... ... - .- -.

It's just the shutter that creates dipped beam wobbling a little when it's down , both high and dipped beam are provided by the HID lamp via an internal shutter that drops down and it will rattle a bit on rough roads . The high beam lamps are just halogens to flash and do a little bit of short range filling in , their parabola is not designed to throw light down the road .

Many thanks for your replies but in attached video levering of headlight is done from another switch which,as u see video,is located on the right hand side and not from the white plastic one which is on the left side
Do i miss something?

Thanks axle confused because 2010 headlight also has the white plastic switch so thought would be the same.

I am quite confused with head lights (the ones with black plastic insert)
Understood that trebling,some times, in main beam might caused by the shutter.However my headlights do not operate high and main beam fm same hid bulb.
The high beam is fm halogen bulb and normally lights when shift to high beam,is not only just for flashing ????
Any idea if headlights simply are not bi-xenon or there is another problem??????
