Best wheel cleaner? Mr Muscle, clay bar & Bilberry

Not having cleaned the car myself for a couple of months, today, I noticed those black dots in the nooks and crannies that do not come off with shampoo and a wash mitt rub... Also some borderline yellow caste/ staining inside some of the spokes.

Is there a good wheel cleaner that cuts through this without me taking the wheels off and spending hours on each wheel?

Thanks

Thumbs Up

Bilt Hammer
It turns purple once in contact with brake dust. Its a no acid product and i haven't found anything else that comes close.
The detailer that i use recommended it.

I use a quick detailer to clean the wheels. After 6 mths the carnubar wax builds up and the dust sticks less. ______________________________

Oven cleaner would be ok on the inside. But would probably take the clear off the outside. ______________________________

I've used oven cleaner on my Suzuki motor bike wheels for years with no problem at all, I think from the factory their enamel, as an oven is but I've had the front powder coated white and that's been fine too. Not sure if it would strip the lacquer coat off, I've got a spare rim so I'll give it a dam good try.

I've used over cleaner to deep clean Audi, BMW, Ford and LR wheels for years. Never caused any damage and has always helped to bring them back to looking good as new. However, only used it when taking the wheels off and OP was to try and find a good cleaner that will do a job on inner dishes without have to resort to taking wheels off (many years ago, used Wonder Wheels but tbh, it was rubbish/ certainly never cleaned the inner dishes and the little brush that was supplied with it was as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike Laughing

Might try Bilbery if it is that good?

Thumbs Up
