L322 Diagnostics - using INPA for BMW

My 03 L322 suddenly showed the dreaded "Air Suspension Inactive" with the control switch light on. I was getting annoyed with the "Bong" as I switched off as I could see that suspension was working OK but only in the mid position. This afternoon I was pressed by the other half to get it sorted!
As I have a 1997 BMW 323i I have the INPA and other software for it. I connected the cable without the OBD1 adapter and plugged it in to the OBD11 connection. I selected "X5 - E53" then Engine "DDE 4.0 for M57". "Chassis 2 Axle Air Suspension" which allowed me to read the errors and then erase the error. Lo and Behold the dreaded warning disappeared!
I then went through the various menus for the E53 and found several other ECU matches.
So, if like me you already have the BMW software it'll work on the RR too!

I have put INPA on an old XP laptop and just had a quick look at live engine values. Can confirm live Injector values can be seen and reset. Also appears all other engine sensors are monitored and can be watched live. Lots of other stuff I never looked at. A$13 for the setup. Super easy to use, I have put a link to a youtube video of someone diagnosing a faulty injector..
I also loaded up Galletto, ( A$10) an ecu flash tool and OBD lead. This can read flash and copy the engine map if set to BMW x5 diesel. I have copied my cars map and had a Pro tuners do their custom magic on it, 50/50 economy power. Now I need the confidence to flash the ECU. the guy who did the custom remap says if I brick it he can sort it by post. Any one done this with Galletto successfully?

I use PA Soft 1.40 for BMW and it works great. Even took the tamper dot from the replacement instrument panel that I had to put in.
