Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has been able to "create" a Video Out output on the RSE system? Allowing you to output the video to a external monitor/screen? Current Family:
2012 FFRR 4.4 TDV8 Westminster
2013 Jaguar XFs 3.0d Sportbrake
2008 FFRR 3.6 TDV8 VSE (Gone)
2008 Ford Mondeo mk4 2.2tdci (Gone)
2006 S Class 320 CDI (Gone)
1998 P38a 4.6 VSE Oxford Blue 98k (Gone)
Vx Vectra C Estate 1.9cdti 150 (with a few twists) (Gone)

You need find the pin outs for the TV tuner, I'm sorry to say that I don't know what they are for the MOST system... but they are there on the BMW system so I can't see why they wouldn't be there on the later system... It might pay to ask on the D3/D4 forum.. as they are a little further advanced in modding the Stereo / Nav systems... they've had longer that us  Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Just curious as to why you would want to add an external monitor? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Ah yes I was wondering if anyone would ask.

Three words... Rear Facing Car Seat.

One of the little ones is still rear facing for another year or so. So wanted to utilise the RSE system etc.. but output to a separate screen. The other little one can view as normal. Current Family:

Is it possible to take the headrest out turn it round and put it back in? Possibly not as the wires go up the legs, but was thinking out loud..... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Worth looking if there is a box of tricks under the seat ( I have this in my after market RSE which makes connecting up alternative screens fairly straightforward, or at the connector to the screen itself for options? .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

surely the rear facing baby isnt old enough to appreciate any video stimulation, maybe give it a teddy bear and a dose of benylin to keep it quiet...[joking] ... - .- -.

Well just to close this topic. All completed.

Tapped into the composite video feed from RSE module to one of the headrest screens.

Pins 9 (black, gnd)& 10 (green, output) on the mitsumi 20 pin connector for reference.

Hooked up video lead and now able to mirror video from one of the RSE systems to an additional screen. Easy modification in the end once I found the wiring diagram for the RSE module. Just a shame LR didn't colour code the wires on this particular diagram. Would of made it a little easier.

2.5 y/o now happy that's she can watch same as her brother and I'm happy as still able to control output from RSE system on touch screen.
