Heater blower only works at one setting

Hi
Have just noticed that the heater blower only works at one speed.
All the lights work correctly but the fan is either on at low speed or off.
Amy ideas?

Could be the FSR at fault. My fans would run for a minute or so then turn themselves off.

There's plenty of threads about the FSR and a wiki on how to replace.....

I have the original one here which I replaced only to find it was ok. Happy to help you change it to try. I'm near Welwyn so quite close to you. Send me a PM if you want to try.

Just to follow up - Coconut came over and I replaced his FSR with mine. It looks like the one I'd removed from mine was a replacement anyway! His original one was a little different. The heat sink rods were fewer and thicker, the casing was metal not plastic and the body was a little thicker. The replacement went in OK but was a little loose in place - still locked in with the tab but not really tight. Anyway, it worked fine.

Hi
Thanks to Mr Spock the fan seems to be working fine, there is a slight groan each time the fan speed is increased but that is something for another day.
Thanks Again for all of your help
