The front windscreen is not tinted, just looks that way with the filter |

. As for the side windows, in California, you can not have the driving compartment windows tinted at all from what I have been told. Having said that, my cars are not registered in Cali, so they tend to be more lenient, especially with Florida tags. My other ride is not technically legal in any state, unless you are law enforcement
