TD6 alternator removal

Hi gang

Anyone replaced a TD6 alternator and if so, how did you get on with it? I'm just about to do mine and it looks a pig to do. I can't even get a socket on the bolts as the belts and pulleys seem to be in the way.

I've looked in the wiki but can't see a topic on it.

TIA

Cheers Stan. It doesn't look an easy job as I suspected. And it's raining here...

All done. I took the radiator out in the end which made access very easy and no need to remove the power steering pump either.
As I've taken the rad out I'm gonna get it pressure tested as I'm losing coolant over time so I suspect there's a pin hole somewhere
