2011 Range Rover Autobiography Black TDV8 Barolo Black
4.4TDV8 Brake discs and pads - 2011MY

Time for the front discs and pads is very nearly up, they are genuine LR and have lasted very well.

I've read the various threads on Brembo brakes and the advice to stay LR so thank you to everyone who contributed. It seems that theret is a straight choice between genuine LR and the Borg & Beck option from Advanced Factors which were being tried by a number of contributors.

Can anyone please comment on the quality and longevity of the Borg & Beck brakes? They are considerably cheaper than the genuine LR products and some of the posts date from 2014 so hopefully there is some feedback.

Thanks to all in advance.

Not that I've tried any pads or disc out on a range rover other than have Brembo pads on the rear. I didn't notice any difference in noise but then I'm used to race pads on MX5 that squeal when cold and when they are to warm.

some of the cheap disc at motor factor tend to only last the life of a set of pads on heavy cars I've found in the past.

not had any problem with brembo pads but I know they are license brand that euro car part seem to be selling. The MOT Track days Test Dummy
