Anyone any idea how to change VIN?

I have a new IIDTool, registered to my very briefly-owned vehicle but the (#!@!!-ing) vehicle had to go back to the dealer for refund. Its a 2011 L322 4.4tdv8

I now have another one, a week on and just need to transfer VIN (remove old Vin - add new VIN) within the IID BT - I'm not changing the owner, I'm the original owner of the IID.

I've gone around in circles on GAP's website and cannot find anything. They're closed for the Xmas break too - so I'm hoping it can be done electronically without human intervention (except my own intervention of course - although I'm an Alien!)

You'll need GAP to give you a new authentication code.

You basically plug it into your new car and a code will flag up, GAP will give you another code which you then enter into the vehicle / IID tool.

It's costs £25 for the service.
