United States 2005 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver
“HLDF CAN BOOTLOADER Waiting to Start Download”. Message

Hello everyone, I'm new here and hoping to post this correctly in the correct area I have a 2005 Range Rover hse getting this message “HLDF CAN BOOTLOADER Waiting to Start Download”. I got the understanding that I need a disc to load up and I believe I found it on the sister site for the disco site as follows:
HLDF CAN Bootloader Error
This problem can occur on vehicles with the Denso DVD-based touchscreen navigation system.

This includes:

Discovery 3
LR3
Range Rover Sport up to and including 2009MY
Range Rover L322 from 2006 to 2009 MY inclusive

Will this work for my 2005 Range Rover hse I don't want to upload this and screw it up
You intel is appreciated
Thanks

Hi, if you look at the top of the page you'll see a sponsors link. Press on that and look down the list at GAP Diagnostics and follow the link, under the products drop down enter your vehicle details you'll be able to see what this fantastic tool can do.

On my year Range Rover it can renew the steering ECU and recalibrate the steering angle sensor, hopefully that's what your looking for.
