After replacing the radiator hose (i think that is the pipe) I too had a squeaking belt for about 7 days then the noice just stopped 2 days ago??

Although not a Tdv8, i replaced the belts on my SC a couple of weeks ago to great benefit. I was noticing a ticking sound coming and going at idle, which to me sounded like it was coming from the heads - but the belt change was done as a *might as well do when i have the access* as I had the radiator out for replacement.
