Posting to Canada.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of best and most cost effective method to post a parcel from UK to Canada.

Need to send Christmas presents and parcel is approx 10kg 70cm x 40cm x 30 cm.

Any suggestions / advise greatly appreciated!

Not sure, but just a bit of info. I used to work in Calgary and my wife posted a Musto Jacket that I had owned for a couple of years. I received a card from the local Post to collect the item and they tried to get me to pay the tax on it because they said it was a new item and had not been declared, even though the customs form said 'own jacket'!
It took a while to convince them it wasnt a new jacket (perhaps the fluff covered boiled sweet in the pocket did it!) but just make sure that all customs declarations (and possibly copies of receipts) are included in the parcel!
