Stupid question........do the lamps remain on permanently when the tailgate is up or is there a 10-15 mnute delay (mine are permanently on, hence the question) Regards

Vehicle interior lights go off after @ 15 minutes if a door is left open, as expected, but I have had a coupe of close calls battery wise whilst camping, leaving the tailgate open..........just wondered if I had a fault or not Wink Regards

Bit confused Stan Confused

I can turn the interior lights off (no flashes), but the boot space light still work, I have had a look through the manual but can only find out how to change the bulbs Laughing

I just want to know if the boot space lighting has an auto shut off, if the tailgate is left open or not.

Has anyone else flattened their battery as I have?? Regards

Sure there's a setting in the CCF that either synchronises the boot light with interior lights so they will go off when the others go off or you can keep them separate and just the boot lights stay on while the boot is open... Thumbs Up

Mine are synced and go off after the 16 minute delay..... Pete

Whistle I changed mine to LED units, so I don't care if they are on or not, plus I can see in the boot at night Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

My 2003 lights stay on when the tailgate is open. All I do is latch the top catch and it turns them off. When. Want to shut it I just press the tailgate button the catch unlocks and I just shut the tailgate

Thumbs Up sneaky, make the car think the tailgate is shut, when it's open Wink Sometimes the simplest of solutions are the best.. you just have to remember that you locked the tailgate in the open position, otherwise there will be a lot of Censored Censored Banging Head when you try to close it for real Laughing Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
