Castrol BOT 26 FMB 1, as far as I have seen there is no other alternative.

Wrong model for the OP, assuming it's for a 2003 4.4 V8 as per his profile, RR P38 is correct. The fluids differ as later models have a 'locking' centre diff where as earlier ones have a Torsen centre diff. |

As Weejock says, the OP stated that he has a 2003 4.4 V8 which is fitted with the NV 225 transfer box which, as RR P38 correctly stated, uses the Castrol BOT 26 FMB 1 75W-90 fluid. The change to the Magna Steyr DD295 transfer box happened at the same time as the change to the ZF 6HP26 transmission i.e. 2006 MY for petrol models and 2007 MY for diesel models.

thanks for the helps lads, bought some,Got to fit a new front diff. So I am going to change this and the rear diff oil to. |

Mine ended up taking 1.2 litres till it started dripping out the fill hole |

They are filed with a measured amount , filling to the fill hole is overfilled so you should drain and re-fill ( what a lot of fill's)but you see what I mean but its all in the Wiki under Recommended Lubricants . 2008 MY Supercharged
