Fan?

With the fan turned off I still get a whirry fan noise in the centre consul. Is this normal? 2010 Overfinch 3.6 V8 FFRR gone yee haa
2005 Supercharged 4.2 V8 FFRR (written off)

England 2011 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Santorini Black

There is a small fan behind the louvered opening that circulates air to test the temperature etc for the controls. It should almost be silent and shuts off when the car shuts down. If it is noisy you can blast it with an air cleaning can as it can get dusty. Tom
