Australia 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand

I clean the outside every Saturday morning. It's like going to church, just must be done.

Previously my routine was pressure clean, two bucket wash, then hand dry. While a good work out it took too long, over an hour for both cars.

Now it takes me 15 min max for the L322 and under 10 min for the wife's car including wheels.

I now use quick detailer from the Australian distributor of the stuff:

It's probably not the very best, I don't really know. But it's been great so far.

Being black, my car only looks good when I have time to clean it properly. If in doubt, I leave it dirty Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

Back in the good old days when I had money and little time, I'd use the Polish chaps every few weeks because I felt lazy and could afford the expense. That said, the paint, wheels and plastics took a hammering when done that way and I'm far happier doing things properly.

These days, paying anything for a job that I can do myself is a waste so I do it myself. To be fair, it's a job I really enjoy.

The SC isn't used much, so once a month is about all she needs. Silver doesn't show the dirt much, so that helps eek things out. Si. <This is my name.

I should add that my cars live outside so I clay bar, wash and spray wash them at least every 6 mths. ______________________________

I do mine when I can but don't use it other than weekends.

Saying that as soon as it's rained it's filthy again with all the rubbish that comes down with all the dust that comes down in the rain. Dan

3 or 4 times a year outside, although I do the inside a bit more often. In the winter and with mostly country journeys it's dirty as soon as you drive it after washing.

If there is any real mud underneath then i make an effort to jet wash it off quickly.

Weekly... Not got time to take a leek, or so it seems... Leave it dirty until able to... seems to be the consensus Thumbs Up

It's the alloys though, the inner dishes end up all crudded with baked on crap and tar etc if left for a few weeks Rolling Eyes

More or less every day tbh, hate the dirt and when it rains brings dust when it dries Sad so as its got a good base a wet mitt and a good micro cloth makes it glossy again or i use Williams wax spray and makes it mint, always keep a small brush and cleaning bits inside the spare cover so if out and looks grubby i do a quick tidy, _____________________________________________________
