Ulf pairing problems

Hi all, I have repinned and connected my 5th gen Ulf and am getting "activate phone" on my screen . I have installed a momentary button for pairing between 32 and 36 , but no joy when going through the pairing procedure. Should I have a voltage on pin 32 with the ignition on ? I am using the original antenna and cable from the TCU as I believe that should be OK. Bob

And I suppose telling you I sold the subwoofer for £50 and the CD changer for £30 won't help matters either !!

Actually, the ULF in the joblot was fried inside when I tried it ! The one I am trying now I got for £30+postage.I have a feeling something is not right with the pairing wiring as I am getting "activate phone"which I assume is a positive.I definitely have the right wires ( brown/black to earth and white).I have used those blue snap together connectors to splice the pairing button in , but might go to the " choccy block " method for a guaranteed connection. It would help though if I knew if there should be a voltage present on the white wire with the ignition on.Any help gratefully received !
