Mirrors fold and immediately unfold

L322 2003 . When I press the fold mirror button, both mirrors fold in and immediately return to the unfolded position.
I also tried the double tap a few times, nothing changed. any suggestions?

I believe that there are micro switches in the mirror that can cause the problem that your describing.... and they are repairable, I would suggest that try a search for door mirror fixes / repairs.... Also the X5 has the same mechanism as the 2002-2005 ffrr's, I'm sure that I found something on youtube years ago about how to fix them Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer...
