My 2011 RR has a rubberised trim down each side of the rear screen glass. One side has badly corroded and gone white (as though water has got underneath the rubber and corroded the aluminium inside). So i have removed both sides

Lots have removed them, they don't even have them on the earlier cars so it's of no consequence... Pete

Ah rite, that makes sense. My parcel shelf won't get wet when the boot opens-cos its in the loft
