I'm trying to change the dust cover for rear brakes which requires removing the rear hub. I've undone the centre nut and have tried a puller on the hub but it's not budging and I don't want to put too much pressure on hub. Is there something else I should be doing in order to remove hub or should it just pull off once centre nut is removed.

As far as I can see from RAVE it needs a puller to remove the hub.

I have taken the disc and all the hand brake bits off so all I'm left with is the hub, looks like it should just slide of the spline but it's not happening If you like it, who cares what other people think |

You can't pull the drive flange off with the hub still on the car, you need to remove the drive shaft which is an exact fit in the flange and very tight, you then remove the whole hub and get a massive press to press the drive flange from the hub, this will wreck the bearing if you manage to do it. After a new bearing and more swearing It's then a pain getting the driveshaft back in as you have nothing to hammer...
