Thanks for the welcome, profile updated, yes I have Lynx for diagnostic and thanks Pete I've checked out the thermostat kit although it will wait until I rebuild engine top end ( suspect HGF)

Only take pictures with the iPhone with it in landscape (ie sideways) with the volume keys at the bottom, then they appear OK... this used to happen a few years ago and apple sorted it with a software upgrade, now the upgrade before last messed it all up again... rather annoying... Pete

These can be a pain to bleed, a small airlock will over pressure the system, lots of heat cycles and topping up should get there, doesn't sound like a typical HGF to me, I'd explore other options first, swap plug/coil to a different cylinder and see if the fault moves...
