-25C to -30C for Scotland

Now I quite like the cooler weather, especially if it brings snow, however -30C is the minimum operating temperature our engines will support, Diesel or Petrol. That is if you are running 0W/30 oil too. If you're running 10W/40 your oil only works down to -10C

A 50/50 Antifreeze mix will only protect down to -36C so if you've only got a 40/60 mix then you risk bursting your radiator core....

The heated steering wheel would be handy, until the battery went flat a few minuted later Thumbs Up

Sadly the chavs/neds are usually encased in microfleece and gortex so it's likely if there is any 'thinning' of the herd it will miss them entirely.

Yeah, lovely heated steering wheel- just enough heat to induce suppuration in your frostbite.

TBH it is nice leaving for work at the same time as a neighbour while he is oscillating away like a deranged oananist with his ice scraper I usually just get in turn on the heated screens, seat, and wheel and then trundle offf with dry hands. LOLZORZ

Heated Screen is possibly the best feature on the car. Whilst both sides are working lol.

Is the engine block heater an option in the Uk ? I wonder if it can be reto fitted ? they are quite common in Canada and supermarket car parks in some provinces have rows of power points to hook up for free.

I have to say I'm a little envious of the snow you have, we havent had any yet in Toronto. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

When I was up in the Highlands last Christmas, I bought Castrol Edge. I can't remember what the rating was but it worked well in the car. It reached -17 while I was up there but the car started first time, every time. Paul
