EuroDisney Campsites

Morning

As if the battering my wallet gets from the full fat isn't enough my wife has decided to destroy it even more by announcing that on our upcoming trip we will be swinging by Monsieur Mouse Land Neutral

Anyone got any recommendations for campsites in the local area (upto 15 miles) 2008 TDV8

"Camping des 4 Vents", by a living mile the best, closest and most accessible. Just done 2 weeks there and was really good. Around 20 mins from Disney and 4 hours from Calais with tintent, taking my time Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Interesting, other than the obvious Paris & Eurodisney and the fact it looks a nice site what are the benefits of spending two weeks here rather than say Beach resort in Brittany, the Ardeche, the Cote D'Azure, Alps Maritime etc?

Genuinely interested as we always seem to head a long way off which of course does not guarantee satisfaction... Smile

Gary - we wouldn't usually have 2 weeks so far north in fairness and for the last 15 years have been all over europe. We decided based on a couple of reasons; it's a great site, pitches are huge and clean green grass. Amenities are good and the site layout makes for easy access for all. It's local to train stations for travel into the city and we fancied a year of not driving far, our kids are 13 and 11 so we're probably not going to head to Disney again, and with the discounts on annual passes it made for a good mix.

Example; our annual pass cost £179, free parking and 10% off most things. A 4 day pass is £212 and parking is now €20 per day. Motorhomes are now on a pay each day tariff also. C4v is so local that we sat a few times having our evening meal and decided to head into the park for the fireworks display, with no pressure to use our tickets.

We took the bikes and boat too, had a couple of decent MTB rides and took the canoes to the inland lake, so we still did some of our normal activity Thumbs Up

I am not sure there is a benefit against another resort or site, but for visiting Disney and Paris it's pretty much perfect.

We had some friends who were with us for our first week and then headed to Dijon and Burgundy. They found a lovely spot on the river but like us, kids had been to Disney and found it too quiet. Horses for courses ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Excuse the washing, but this gives you an idea of the pitch size (so very suitable for larger Mhomes), our caravan is 8m end to end and that's a 3m deep awning Thumbs Up Tap and ehu was on pitch with MH empty point and water fill up on site.

Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........
