Temperature error shutting down

Hi
I got a 2005 l322 4.4 and the touch screen in the front just says temperature error shutting down , nothing is working , has been reset but still nothing .Is there any way of doing a check to try isolate which component could be at fault ?

its been mentioned just a few times and there doesnt seem to be any conclusion why this is happening,
