Paint specialist

Hi there,

Does anyone know of a company that can look at my car and provide a report regarding the quality of the paintwork?

A dealer has carried out work and it's well below standard but they're digging their heels in.

Cheers. 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

That's easy. Call your local Aston Martin dealer and ask which place they use. Their standards are way above Land Rover, as an example, a new FFRR takes about the same time to build the entire car as a DB9 spends just in the paint shop.

I complained about some paint on SWMBO's DB9 as it looked as if it had 'enjoyed' (been the victim of) a smart repair at some point. The newly refinished car is beyond awesome in terms of paint now. Far better than the standard bodyshops. If you take it to an AM approved place you will get a properly critical eye over it.

It's not an Aston though, although they could probably still do the work.

Problem is that if I take it to a dealer of the same type they probably wouldn't want to side against their peers...I can't say what car it is at this stage for legal reasons... 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

There is an AM approved repairer in Chertsey and they did some stuff on mine and it is as has been said quite remarkable the difference ( I couldn't see half the blemishes until they pointed them out Embarassed
