hi guys i just bought a 2010MY 3.6 td8.

in the service manual it was serviced, but doesn't say what it had on 95k mileage, 3 months ago.

now its on 101k and today when i started her up i got "service required" on the dash upon engine start.

i can't see anywhere in the menu that i can see what it requires, an inspection or oil service?

Is there anything i can check in any of the menu's or is it a case of a bit of guesswork??, i mean should it be needing another service only 6k mileage and 3 months after its previous one, i guess if it was a check previous it could now need oil...

Just had a reply from the service place that i got from the stamp

"had a full lube service, rear axle oil, gear box oil, engine oil + filters and fuel filters. At the time of the service the car did not need a service so the service interval timer might not of reset itself, if the service light has come on I would take it to a local garage and ask for the light to be reset"

Now, i bet i cant reset this service indicator myself anymore on these can i ?
