Euro Car Parts - no quibble battery exchange

I had a few electrical gremlins over the last few weeks - so when the car was in for it's MOT I asked them to check the battery - which they said was faulty.

It's a 3 year old Bosch S5 020

I took it back to Euro Car Parts - they asked if I had the receipt - which I did - confirmed it was a 5 year warranty - stuck it on their tester, which came up with a Replace message.

They had one in stock so they just gave me that and out I walked.

No questions, no long and complicated forms - I'm very impressed Thumbs Up

Just searched for this thread....
I bought a new Bosch S5 battery, as recommended by the registration number, from euro car parts. And filed the receipt, in my folder. That was in May 2013. I've had a few flat battery mornings lately, and got the @rse with it. So, with it typically 'flat' I went down to euro parts, (after checking they had one in stock!) and they exchanged it. I also, now have a further 2 years left now, on the replacement battery. Which, I will set a phone calendar reminder for!
Happy with my 5 yr battery warranty!
I'm £170 happier!
And I didn't buy anything else, as I had to move my car, as I was so near the door, cozy it's so poxy heavy!

I also had a good replacement experience when my S5 went bad. No problem with ECP but I do wonder about Bosch Whistle Geoff

I recently had to buy 2 batteries, one for the FFRR and one for my Merc. They both went dead as we were off to a posh do so had to arrive in wife's chrome mini, which hadn't been cleaned for ages Censored I decided to go with the Halfords lifetime guarantee for both cars at around £180. went for the 900 energy as both cars are energy hungry and the difference is noticeable. Current:
1999 SL500
2006 Mini One Chrome wrapped
2008 FFRR 4.2sc
