Test drive MY2010 - Anything to look out for ?

Hi All,

Got a fully refundable deposit down on a 2010MY RRVSE TDV8 3.6 and test driving it next weekend.

Is there anything to specifically look out for, other than the usual checks to make sure all the electrics work and general mechanics are sound. Given its still relatively new, I'm not expecting there to be any issues, but interested to hear to see if there are any specific things to look out for.

Will be checking brakes/discs for condition and any judder/vibration through the steering wheel, given the comments on front discs etc. Is there anything else to look out for ?

I'm expecting this car to be slightly more refined than my previous Disco TD5 !! Wink

Cheers

If it's a main dealer vehicle it should be OK at that age.
Check the number of former keepers though, just in case it's already had to change hands a few times.
That would make me suspicious.
They should also be able to check if it's had any warentee work already done on it.

Discounts are a given now on the 2010. My local dealer was offering 7.5k off a new 60 plate Vogue SE it had in the showroom. Guess the new 4.4 TDV8 makes that no big shock.
