I notice that it seems to smooth out at the high speed.

My CLS320 felt like its was going to fall apart at 255+ kph and my R1 feels like 80 mph at 180 mph , no real difference unless you sit up. !!!! 2015 4.4 AB

I once saw 155mph on my ZX9R (motorbike for the non-bikers). Won't be doing that again 😂 |

I do recall seeing the wrong side of 170 in my Ferrari some years back. Rough as a badger's backside up to a ton and then it all smoothed out. It did occur to me that if anything went wrong I had zero time to sort it out though and I've never done anything like it since.

I used to have a R1 motorbike and got into a silly race along a dual carriageway....140 was ok and felt stable. 175 was brown pants speed and that was in a fairly straight line. Everything around me was a blur and it was unbelievably scary at how quick i saw the rear wheel of the bike in front when he backed off the throttle. Christ knows how these guys do the TT at 200mph!! |

Have seen the wrong side of 150 a couple of times not in the UK tho, on our roads it would just be plain silly and dangerous, there is never enough space and the rate at which you approach slower cars is scary.
