I went from 18's to 19's on my TD6 and they are a good compromise. Tyres are much cheaper too, and more make options.

Stick with OE Land Rover alloys, as they are made for the job and up to the task if you whack a pot hole in a car that weighs the best part of 3 tons.....

22's all day long but its personal taste...

I've run 18's 20's & 22's on my old td6, it's no one else's decision but yours, plenty of naysayers, they look ace, but beware the kerbs!!

Have run on 18's, 19's and 20's.

The good thing about 18's is you are in "devil may care, go anywhere" mode, seems to matter not what you run at, you only contact with rubber. Always had to be more careful, even with 20's.

Guess it depends on whether you want "street" or "Haylands" look  .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

I see you have an early TD6 so it won't have any resonance inhibitor , 22" wheels will make it wobble at the traffic lights .There is a reason they were only offered with 18" wheels I'm afraid . 2008 MY Supercharged

I do like 22" but I will stick to the 19" I had on it.

I recently bought a secondhand set of Hawke 22s as they had nearly new Toyos on them, expected ride issues but I really haven't noticed any difference. Only thing is fuel consumption has got worse but if I was worried about that I wouldn't have a Range Rover.

As I have the early model I have vaguely read that the wheel nuts have to be changed, meaning I can't use what I have on the 19" rims.
Can someone clarify this for me. Please.

I agree 22" wheels look the best all day long on any L322, even 20" look small in those arches and 22" looks just right. I've heard people say about ride quality etc but what about fitting the 275/40/22 like on the L405? Well they've arrived - Insurance Company notified (£13 refund?) will be waxing them this weekend . 22" seems to generate a mixed response as to ride quality so I will report back - tyres are 275/40/22. I have ordered some shiny centre caps so will fit when they arrive. Anything I need to worry about?
