The trouble is because Land Rover refuse to make parts available , no one wants to be left with a job they can't complete . I have never heard of any one who will tackle TDV8's just the odd chanser who gets an engine out of a wrecker , steam cleans it and calls it "refurbished" then disappear into the earth when it goes pop . I suppose despite the engines Ford / Peugeot origines the fact that it is exclusive to land Rover means they have no incentive to offer any kind of customer service other than maximum profit with a new engine and what happens when the supply they built up before the end of production run out ? 2008 MY Supercharged
