hmm
sure you haven't plugged the wrong cable into the door access mode connector on the driver switch pack?
I seem to recall a post that its possible to transpose the wiring to a couple of the connectors on the switchpack , one of them being the access height control connector

thanks for the reply all wires that were connected to switch module were not disconnected both speakers are working normally .can not for the life of me see another connection. i must be missing something there are 3 connectors with multi wires going to switch. box these wires were left in situ. speaker wires were disconnected and i must have pulled these mystery wires out but from where i just can not see i have ordered new cable for door opener and will wait till it comes before taking apart again any ideas would be great richard

i do have air bag and it is still connected. these wires come from loom in the door and look like they should go to card somewhere very similar to speaker wire connection

The wires aren't for the puddle lights in the bottom of the door card or the door handle leds by any chance?
With regard to the air suspension not working I would be inclined to take the door card off again and one by one un-plug all the door connectors and then re-connect and see what happens. Thumbs Up

Don't how how far this will take you but behind the driver's door panel the wire colours are:
Ride Height Switch - SR/N/YG
Puddle Lamp - N/RU
Mid range Speaker - SN/SB
High Range Speaker -YB/YR
Airbag -Y/N
Anti Trap Sensor -N/NR
Window Motor -BG/BS

S = Grey
N = Brown
Y = Yellow
G = Green
R = Red
B = Black
U = Blue

There is other wiring but something to be going on with. Wink John

I'm pretty sure that as you have no lights at all on the air suspension switch panel a hard fault has been logged on the ECU for whatever reason which will require to be cleared by connection to a diagnostics unit.

I'm afraid I simply don't know.
As far as I'm aware the only thing in the doors that could possibly cause a problem with the air suspension are the Hall sensors in the door locks that indicate when the doors are open and closed. It's common for the air suspension to be inhibited when a door is open but usually the indicator lights stay on on the switch panel.
I assume you have checked the fuse for the air suspension? Fuse 57, 15A on the front fuseboard behind the glove box.
