Speaker upgrades to HK logic 7

Just wondering if anyone has replaced the door speakers or sub in theirs as they are getting on a bit I'm finding the system seems to be getting weaker in certain music types at higher levels Sad

Either the speakers or the amp is slowly dying 😥😥 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I recently replaced the one door speaker, the middle one by your knee as had died, the rest so far so good. Many thanks
Paul

Did you replace it with stock or an upgraded unit? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

From having the stage 2 amp upgrade in my BMW based car, I'd say sort the amp out first.....

The HK system in my 2011 only sounds any good with the Logic 7 bit turned off.....

Just my 2p

I've tweaked and tweaked mine, I think the sub and the amp ideally could do with some work but the amp would be a nightmare to be honest so starting with just the low and mid range speakers ideally but wonder what else has been done as I know later rr's are reported by some owners to not sound as rounded and finished as the 05-09's for some reason. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

If you have the dip setup (like me) can you just plug and play th HK L7 amp from the premium setup ( i think up to 05?) and does it sound any better with he stock speakers?

Mines the MY06 version so as others are from 2005-2009 the fibre network plays a role and I can't just unplug stuff without getting a joint put in Sad

I think it's more an age thing with the speakers now as compared to the my onkyo 7.1 setup at home I am starting to tell the difference more easily where as I used to not be able to, especially with bass... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
