Has anyone changed their wood veneer to piano black?

Changing all the panels will be too expensive so I wondered if anyone had painted theirs or wrapped them? If so, any pointers or specialists who would be best to use?

I'd avoid painting or wrapping them - the finish is never OEM quality.

Talk to a company called Garnish Dip.

They use an exceptional technology to recoat interior parts to factory finish where they float the coating on water and dip the parts. They do loads of stuff for main dealers - LR and Jag.

They did the interior on a £50k Jaguar XKR that I had (brushed aluminium to piano black) and the finish was factory - absolutely flawless.

I think they may recently have stopped allowing you to send stuff in and out via post due to things getting damaged, so you might need to take your car to them and leave it for a day or two (weekend in Exeter?) but I can't recommend them highly enough.

Pretty sure it'll be more cost effective than buying all new piano black trim from a Powerful UK or similar.

If you go ahead, I'd love to see before and after pics!  Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

Won't mean much to you as you don't know what it looked like before, but the piano black panel above the glovebox was aluminium finished before Garnish Dip worked their magic.
