HK sub in DSP system

Hi All,

I retrofitted a bargain (£15!) Dension IceLink plus iPod adapter at the weekend which displays track info etc on the cluster or nav screen.

Everything else in the sound system is stock.

Well, what a change it sounds 10x better on my stock DSP system. Up to 1/4 volume it sounds awesome (not the best but bloody good for stock) however at 1/2 volume it sounds like the sub in the boot has blown or something.

Not being one to mess around i ordered another sub today as i didn't want to go through the hassle of removing it if it was knackered and not having a replacement.

The difference is i order the logic7 HK sub, same age ( not the 2010 one). The plug is the same but the speakers are slightly bigger. Just wondered if anyones done this and if it made a big difference and if it worked?
