Many thanks for all the welcoming comments: I know a lot of people don’t like green cars , but I like the colour very much: I had a Disco V8i in the same colour during the late nineties.

The headlamp washer/wiper parking issue is rather worse the first feared: investigation reveals that the headlamp motor is kaput.

Although I’ve now fitted a set of Pirellis to the front (good value at £290 inc for a pair), the jury is still out on the wisdom of 20” wheels: the resonance when in drive, stationary with the brakes on, is definitely noticeable. I’m told this is exacerbated with the 20” so may revert to 18” wheels. I had the good fortune to pick up a set in vgc last evening for just £75 and although the intention is to use them for winter tyres I may yet throw a set of summer tyres on in the meantime.

Will take some interior shots if the weather stays dry long enough this weekend...
