Weegie, if it weren't for the not knowing how hot it's gonna get driving 800 mile to Spain soon, I'd bin it as around locals it don't make any difference..

Weejock. The "posts" arnt proper threaded so can't get nuts on them, so no go on the spires or star washers.

For a dozen quid I'll order them and put it back on. Thank you so much. Am going to order those ones. Looks like the size of them will be the same as a penny washer. So perfect.

If the hole gets too big for them, I find cutting up a coke can and adding that under the peg saves it from falling off. Happened on a mondeo i had and the fix worked perfectly. |
