Always looking for a decent alternative to Sky and just seen an advert for Infinity TV - anyone have any experience of this? "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

Yes it does seem to promise a lot and still claims to be legal....the amount we are spending on Sky now per month is getting out of hand so I am looking for viable alternatives - FreeSat2 may end up being the only choice.. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."

We've just been through some "renegotiation" with Sky. Give them their 30 days cancellation notice, ignore any offers they give you on the phone and as if by magic, you'll get a 50% off your package for 12 months offer.

It's "Sky maths" Stan. 50% off your TV package, not 50% off your total package, which in our case is HD, fibre BB etc etc.

Yep, I just got fed up with Sky and their hollow promises. Had a decent aerial installed and now use Freeview on 3 of the 4 TV's, Freesat on the last one. The bill went from 82 quid a month to zero. |

Trouble with mine is that Son & Father-in-law piggyback off mine for the sports. There would be a big family rift if I threatened to knock it on the head. |

Buy a fire tv box and put SMPC or Kodi they are legal to watch you wont need to download any progs again as there on loads of apps, then you can subscribe to Dexter pro £5 a month or a few others and all pretty reliable just need broadband and if its a good speed its superb, 576 720 and 1080p and sky get nought which pleases me |

Legal to use yes but watching programs without a paid subscription is illegal after all.
