My Mums Achievements

As some of you will I’m sure remember? I lost my dad a few years ago after a short fight with cancer. This followed a 10+yr dementia diagnosis...

Since my dads diagnosis, my mum has ploughed her every efforts into helping both my dad and since his passing others including travelling the length & breadth of the UK training care home staff & management in dementia care...

She even took my daughter to Australia to a Dementia summit!

She is simply put, a remarkable woman (but then i would say that as I’m obviously biased) Whistle

She has just been recognised in this years Queens Birthday honours list Shocked & i for one, couldn’t be prouder... Bow down

Congratulations to her. Thumbs Up

Always prefer to see someone being recognised for doing something worthwhile for others rather than a so called celebrity getting an award for doing what they get their money for. John

Are you going to the palace when she gets it? When my mum got her OBE we all went and I came out with a pocket full of royal bog roll... it was the only thing I could get haha

Congratulations on a well deserved honour to your mum. This sort of thing is what the honours system should be about and not about knighthoods to the likes of Rod bloody Stewart. IMO. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20
I swear you will never see anything like this ever again....watch it..drink it in.

That is great, congratulations. It is also a wonderful idea that this kind of work is rewarded in this way. You must be a proud man with such a great mum! Congratulations Mrs Hennell!
