I've watched about 10 episodes of Top Gear US in the last few days, which is better, but they don't have a studio or guests.....

Maybe the issue I had was that it was too similar in places to the old TG. We have seen them do the shooting thing before with the US trip with the LFA, Aston and Corvette.

I would have prefered it to be completly different but I guess when you have one of the BBC's most popular franchises you don't really want to be known as the person that broke it. I really like Matt and think he is a far more natural presenter for a car show than Chris.

As I saidbefore its unfair to judge on one show so the jury is still out at the moment - willsee what next week brings. 2008 TDV8

Saw it was on this afternoon and sky plus the series. Watched it and deleted the series link. I thought it was poor and both presenters were wooden, especially LeBlanc.

I lasted 18 minutes and thought poo picking the field clearing of horse crap is more interesting ....won't be watching this program again . If it dont work.......burn it!

If the IId tool cant fix it.......burn the FF.

If the FF cant be fixed......buy a Land Cruiser!

I think the two of them were OK.

They need another presenter in the mix. Sabine is not a great presenter which is no slight as she isn't one, they need a wheel man on there. monkey Harris has been slated onto the TG extra show on tinternet, and I think assign him into the mix would be a great idea.

Le blanc can drive a bit but neither of those two are good drivers as such, at least if monkey was on there there would be a proper car man.

At the end of the day, Clarkson was at heart a car nut! So was May and Hammond caught up quick. The problem is that as much as Evans is a car collector, he is a presenter, not a car journo. Will present what ever is put before him.

For a first show I thought it was a decent stab at it. They will probably settle in a bit and it should loosen up a bit.

The Reliant trip to Blackpool was tedious. Gordon and Jesse mini bit was cringeworthy. I had high hopes but was desperately disappointed.

This show is sold world wide - I think TV companies will be cancelling their orders.
