And the problem with that is? Its about brand identity. You can tell a Merc from a distance, irrespective of model. Beemers too, so why not LR products? |

Erm, "We" can tell it's a LR 'cos that's what we're into. I asked several people at work what they thought it might be and from 5 answers not one was Land Rover. Mitsubishi was the closest on the basis it's a 4x4. So no, not job done at all, unless we're talking about a bad job. |

Unfortunately, LR are following the herd by producing the same face/ shape across the range. Apparently, it has something to with psychology and aspirational owners wanting to feel the own something that looks like the top of the range. Personally, I think it's just a case of saving on design studio fees....or the 'Porsche' school of styling. |

Not the new D5 as sutch , press speculation says its LR attempt at an X6 ( shudder) based on the new D5 platform . 2008 MY Supercharged
