Has anyone got any expereinece with Security Bollards for your driveway

I don't have one personally but two of my neighbours have and it's fascinating watching then raise and lowering them everytime they come and go. Good exercise for a stiff back.
I've come to the conclusion that they really do need to be electrically or hydraulically operated through a remote control similar to a garage door function to be practical for daily use.
Interesting to see how many bits of cars tend to collect around them when people try to turn their cars around and don't see them.

My dad fitted some when a builder started using his holiday house as a car park , a few month later he reversed a two week old Merck just about its full length down one Big Cry Rolling with laughter 2008 MY Supercharged

My lad had the same thing when his neighbour started attempting to steal some of his drive. His Mrs backed her new mini straight into it! Cheeky begger tried to blame my son and claim on his insurance!!!

They are very unforgiving if you have put them in properly !!!
